Payment Terms & Refunds – Courses
Full payment is required to hold a position on any course. This fee is not refundable within 30 days of the course commencement as people make arrangements far in advance and it is impossible to fill these positions at the last minute. If cancellation in outside 30 days, 50% of this fee will be held for the next available course on the calendar (location immaterial), as a deposit. If a second cancellation is made, this deposit then becomes non-refundable. As flights, accommodation, hire vehicles and instructors are booked as well as printed stationary, this is required for cost recovery. Notifications of non attendance must be made by email.

FAQ's

Can I book one-on-one training?

Yes you can. Please inquire with us with your location, your nominated rifle range of choice if available, and your requirements. One-on-one training is sometimes the preferred method of learning by some people.

Can you help recommend the rifle/scope I should buy?

We can and we do.  Precision Shooting trainers can provide expert advice, though are usually not available by phone and cannot provide pricing or stock availability.  For those services, please see our sister company, Beaton Firearms.

Do you offer a consultation service to assist in the purchase of the right equipment?

In the past, Precision Shooting offered purchase consultation, for a fee.  However, now that it is encompassed under the Chutzpah banner, expert advice is free and available through our sister company, Beaton Firearms

Do you sell rifles or scopes?

Unfortunately, Precision Shooting does not provide rifles, scopes, ammunition or other accessories.  The sale of all these items go through our sister company, Beaton Firearms.  Visit their online store here.

Can I pay by direct deposit?

Yes you can.  We will email you the direct deposit details upon request.

What is the minimum age?

18 years.

Do I need a firearm licence?

Yes you do. This is required to be produced to the course co-ordinator before commencement of any training undertaken by our staff at Precision Shooting Australia.

Do I need a police clearance?

Yes you do!!  For insurance and to protect Australia’s homeland security, a current National Police Clearance Certificate is required before attending courses. A current valid firearm licence for your rifle you are using and photo identification is also required for all courses where shooting is undertaken. For more information on police clearance certificates please visit your relevant state police website.

What if the course gets cancelled?

You will be either fully refunded forthwith or given the opportunity to keep your booking on the next available course date.

What if it rains during the course?

This is great! Rain is a atmospheric condition that only some trainees are lucky enough to be trained under.  Rain will only affect day 1 and 3 on the Precision Shooting Long Range course. As accurate calibration of trajectory and software is required it is important for it not to rain on this day. However, this day can be shuffled a little to compensate for inclement weather. If you do not wish you rifle to be wet on the odd occasion whilst training or hunting then this course may not be for you.
